Last week, we had a special event called an Ice Cream Social.   It was held by Web and was to help introduce the new 7th and 8th graders to our school. “Some have moved from different states. Some may have left for a year and come back. We just try to make them feel comfortable, and make sure you know this is kind of like their secondary home.” (Gr.8, William Millett)

The Web leaders set up at the lunch tables and bought ice cream sandwiches.  They played games, ate ice cream, and had a lot of fun. One of the games they played is 4 corners.  “It’s during brunch and advisory and we’re having an amazing time.”  ( Gr. 8, Noel Weekly)

Overall, the students and the Web leaders had a great time getting to know each other. “ I think it is a great primary and I’m having such a great time here.” (Brooklyn Dillon) “ I´ve been able to talk to a few 7th and 8th graders, make some friendly conversations, and so far it’s been pretty good.
